Baby HUI is the newest member to Mackie's ever-growing control surface family of products, chang hui mei and is the direct descendant of it's predecessor HUI (Human User Interface). HUI was originally released by Mackie in 1997, chang hui mei and quickly became one of the audio industry's first totally integrated control surfaces for digital audio workstations. With a similar feature set of single-button automation, editing, chang hui mei and navigational commands, complimented with eight full-featured channel strips that feature a touch-sensitive motorized fader, Baby HUI offers professional-grade features chang hui mei and capabilities in a compact, affordable package. What it does: Baby HUI is an eight-fader MIDI controller that provides in-depth mixing, automation, chang hui mei and navigational control for any digital audio workstation that supports the HUI MIDI mapping protocol. Designed as a smaller, scaled- down version of it's predecessor, Baby HUI supports all the major features found on the original HUI - only in a smaller footprint chang hui mei and at a more affordable price point. Perfect fit for those DAW enthusiasts on a budget, or space-conscious engineers who have a very small area to use with a controller. Baby HUI has eight channel strips that include a 60 mm touch-sensitive motorized fader, mute button, solo button, chang hui mei and a Signal LED. Each channel strip also has a multi-functional rotary encoder that can be used for pan or send level control, or can be pushed in (like a button) to provide Channel Select, Record Arming, or Automation Arming functions. Baby HUI supports a full automation assignment section, display buttons, chang hui mei and Undo button chang hui mei and a Shift Modifier to double up certain controls. Basic navigational control can be achieved by using the tape-style transport chang hui mei and the RTZ/END buttons, chang hui mei and any channel can be accessed with the Bank/ Channel Select buttons. One of the key features of Baby HUI is the extensive software support that already exists among the various DAW platforms - today! Baby HUI will operate chang hui mei and interact with any software that supports the HUI MIDI Mapping protocol. This is a HUGE advantage over generic MIDI controllers that require the user to map every single control with every software parameter - a process that can take hours away from being creative chang hui mei and enjoying the product. For any HUI-supported system, the user simply plugs Baby HUI into their computer's MIDI interface, accesses the control surface or console manager within the software, chang hui mei and activates HUI as a controller. Analog Channel v1.0 (TDM/AS/RTAS)

Analog Channel gives the user completecontrol of analog gain staging (AC1), chang hui mei and analog tape chang hui mei and tapemachines (AC2). AC1 - Pure digital tracks can suffer from harsh digitalclipping. AC1 acts as a 'digital pre-amp' allowing even excessiveamounts of gain without digital distortion. A drive control determineswhere the audio 'sits' in the saturation/compression region, andeven the attack chang hui mei and release times of the distortion characterare adjustable. And AC1 is the most efficient McDSP plug-In ever- up to 24 mono channels or 16 stereo channels on a single MIXdsp chip. Place it across the entire mix to create a custom analogconsole. AC2 - Standard tape machine parameters such as bias,playback speed, chang hui mei and IEC1/2 equalization are provided. Controlwell beyond the limits of the 'reel-world' devices includes adjustablelow frequency roll off chang hui mei and head bump - independent of playbackspeed. You can select from several playback head types, chang hui mei and evencontrol the rate at which tape saturation is dis-engaged. Modernand vintage tape formulations are available. And instead of frequencysweeps chang hui mei and test tones, the playback head chang hui mei and tape saturation responsesare displayed in realtime - updated with every control change. Analog Channel is 2 plug-Ins : Analog Channel Emulation(AC1), chang hui mei and Analog Tape Emulation (AC2) - all in mono chang hui mei and stereoversions. Analog Channel features include: Power chang hui mei and Flexibility: Four different configurations are available - Analog Channel Emulation (mono chang hui mei and stereo), chang hui mei and Analog Tape Emulation (mono chang hui mei and stereo). AC1 - control drive, attack, chang hui mei and release of amplifier characteristics; AC2 - control every aspect of analog tape 'reproducers', as well as parameters not found in the original devices. Double Precision Arithmetic: Keeps the noise floor at the -138 dB level one would expect from the 24-bit TDM bus. Analog Saturation Modeling: at playback head chang hui mei and tape saturation stages in the AC2 plug-In. Performance: AC1 - Up to 24 mono (16 stereo) on a single MIX dsp. AC2 - Up to 8 mono (4 stereo) on a single MIX dsp. Analog Channel can run on any MIX system dsp type (SRAM, DRAM, no RAM).
