Baria Serece is a privately owned breakbulk port, located in the southern part of Vietnam, 50km East of HCMC. It is a deep-water port, with a minimum of 12m draft at quay. The port assumes a wide range ofservices, from stevedoring (bulk, general cargo, heavy lift) to bagging, storage, customs clearance, trucking, barging... Baria Serece is also the only foreign company in Vietnam to own and operate bonded warehouses.

The Indonesian master on board, as well as his crew, declared he has been proposed the job by one Hongkong-man and ignored the origin of the ship.
